Who Was the Woman With Osotsi? His Answer Is Fueling New Reactions
The conversation around Senator Godfrey Osotsi's recent incident has taken a new turn — and this time, it's about the woman seen with him.
Following the circulation of CCTV footage showing the senator in the company of a lady during the Kisumu incident, speculation quickly spread online, with some claiming it was linked to a possible love triangle.
But speaking from his hospital room, Osotsi has now addressed the issue directly — and firmly dismissed the claims.
The outspoken senator did not hide his frustration, especially toward what he described as deliberate attempts to mislead the public.
Setting the Record Straight
According to him, the narrative being pushed online is not only false but also orchestrated. He went further to accuse a blogger, who he says is also a Member of County Assembly (MCA), of being paid to spread the allegations.
Osotsi clarified that the woman seen in the footage is not involved in any personal scandal, as suggested in rumours. He identified her as Jennifer, a staff member who, according to him, is well known within his team and to people around him.
"There is a blogger who has said I was involved in a love triangle. The lady I was with is known to everyone — she is Jennifer, and she is also my staff member," he stated.
Accountability and Misinformation
His remarks now shift the focus from speculation to accountability, raising questions about how quickly unverified claims can spread — and who benefits from them.
Even as the senator continues to recover, the debate online shows no signs of slowing down. What started as footage has now turned into a wider conversation about misinformation, political rivalry, and the power of online narratives.
Residents across Vihiga County, from Luanda to Mbale, Chavakali to Hamisi, and Emuhaya to Sabatia, continue to follow the developments closely as one of their most prominent political representatives navigates this challenging period.
